Claire Goods, B.S., is the Senior Clinical Research Assistant at the Response To Risk Program. Claire is responsible for the coordination of many research projects at Response to Risk. Her primary role is the study coordinator on the UPLIFT research study. She is also involved in many other projects in the program, such as InVEST.


Academic: Claire received her bachelor’s degree in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience from the University of Michigan in 2022. She has a research background in neuropsychological and genetic components on, depression, anxiety, and youth behavioral disorders.


Interests and Experience: Prior to joining the Response to Risk program, Claire has worked as a research assistant at the University of Michigan Psychology Department , working with young adults to better understand the longitudinal development of various behavioral disorders. She has also worked as a research assistant studying motivated behaviors and the epigenetic effects of chronic stress. She was also a peer facilitator in which she guided undergraduate students through their studies and career development. Claire is continuing to work on projects exploring the impact of social and role functioning interventions on treatment outcomes for youth at risk for psychosis, and exploring the utility of integrating mental health interventions and technology. Her interests include developing interdisciplinary intervention models to early psychosis risk treatment, and creating accessible treatment methods.
